Shaking, vibration from the steering Wheel and losing tyre pressure are all signs that you may have a damaged Wheel. You may have hit a pothole and the result is a bent Wheel and damage to the tyre. At Wheelcraft our Technicians are happy to assess the Wheel prior to Straightening.
We have the very latest in Hydraulically assisted Wheel Straightening equipment and we are able to offer a same day service if required. The process involves heating the wheel and using hydraulic rams to push out the bends in the heated metal. After straightening the wheel it is then heat treated again in order to strengthen it , as the heat and forces involved in the process change the molecular structure of the wheel.
